Installing the Artifex SSL/TLS Root Certificate

Step 1: Download the certificate from us. [ Download - Windows ] [ Download - Mac ]

If you are using Internet Explorer and Windows
  1. When you download the certificate choose to open it instead of saving it.

  2. This will give you a window where you can choose to install the certificate.

  3. When it asks where to install it, choose the "Automatic" option.

If you are using a Mac (running OS X)
  1. When you download the certificate, choose to open it.
  2. Apple's Keychain program will ask if you want to add the certicate to your keychain list. Say yes, putting it into X509 anchors
  3. You may want to remove the prior Artifex root certificate, by selecting it and typing the delete key.
