the main server has moved Wed Jan 31 01:28:33 PST 2007 [more]
After more than three years of generous colocation in a Fremont data center (http://www.communitycolo.net), we and the other members of the CCCP are leaving Hurricane Electric. The new server, in Sacramento, has now taken its place.
Until later tomorrow, some less essential services (zope, phpmyadmin, R) may not be in place, and other things may be broken. Please let me or the list know if something's not working.
If you have a virtual host at the Artifex, and we do not manage its DNS for you, then you must update your DNS records immediately so that all A records point to 69.62.198.229. If you're not sure if that means you, please write to the admin mailing list (artifex-admin) or me (hblanks) with whatever questions you have.
Also, as an e-mail to all members relates, SSH users will receive a message that their SSH host key will have changed. That's because the server has changed from the one in Fremont (mars) to the one in Sacramento (terra).
Before the move, the uptime on mars in Fremont was 194 days and 2 hours.
