Lighting Design and Theatre Arts


I am a lighting designer / lighting electrician currently based in Hawaii.  I also stage manage,

do stage interpretation (Japanese / English), and choreograph my own work.

I hold an MFA from the University of Hawai'i in Asian Theatre, and a BA from Antioch College

in dance/theatre.


I have designed the lighting for more than thirty shows, and worked in various capacities in theatre since the age of

fifteen.  I worked several years as a lighting designer in Japan, and so I have experience in backstage / design work in the

Japanese style and the Japanese language.
